Since my last dosing on August 20th, things have been gradually improving on the side effect front.
For the most part, nausea seems to be limited to dosing days and the following 1 or 2 days. Constipation seems to be a thing of the past, especially when I regularly take my magnesium citrate capsules.
The muscle and bone pain is gradually diminishing. I have helped my sleep by taking a low potency hydrocodone + acetaminophen tablet (5mg + 300mg), when needed. I wait until midnight or later to take this so that I can get the maximum sleep. I also have started to wear some loose fitting socks to keep my feet warm. This seems to help the bone pain in my feet because my feet are warmer. If the rest of me feels a little cool, I add a light weight blanket to my side of the bed. Last night, with the socks and blanket I was able to sleep until about 1:30 am when the pain started to interfere with my sleep. I took the one tablet and slept straight through to 6:20 am, when the alarm came on. This is recent record!
In addition to all this, Richard and Maryellyn from St. Andrew’s gave me a book by Dodie Osteen about her cure from liver cancer and a prayer that Richard had found helpful during his two fights with cancer.
I am so thankful for all my family, friends and co-workers who look out for me every day; constantly checking on me, thinking about me and praying for me. You all are the best. God bless each and every one of you.
