This peripheral neuropathy (PN) thing is really quite strange.
I’ve told you go my symptoms, aching muscles, feet that constantly feel as though I’ve been standing all day, and the short, sharp pains that come and go.
Last night I took my regular pain med at 9:30 pm. Usually, I take straight acetaminophen when that wears off 5-1/2 to 6 hours later. Last night I slept right through my second dosing. To me, that is progress. Also, I haven’t found the need to wear socks to bed recently to keep my feet warmer. I do still use a supplemental blanket when I feel a little too cool.
I read that exercise is good for PN, such as walking, or an exercise bike. So I got on my bike again when I got home. If your feet can withstand the touch, massage is also helpful.
While this PN will be with me for some time, it does seem to me that it does get a little bit better every day, on average.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your healing.
Amen.
