Today is ASCT + 629 days.
Today I had my first infusion since August of 2013. The drugs were Kyprolis (carfilzomib) 37 mg and Decadron (dexamethasone) 10 mg. This started about 2:30 pm and ended an hour later. At the suggestion of Fr. Nigel Mumford, a person well known in healing circles, I prayed over the drugs given to me with a prayer I wrote:
Bless, O Lord this medicine for my use, and me to your loving service. May this medicine enter my body and do all the things it is supposed to do and not cause any unwanted side effects. May it reach every single cancerous cell in my body and kill it. I pray also that you, Lord Jesus, the great physician, replace all those killed cells, with new healthy cells, and restore me to the person you intended me to be. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
I used it with each of the two drugs I received. There is no doubt in my mind that healing is going on. After I had been hooked up to the IV, the nurse took my vitals and my blood pressure was 105/57! Another nurse said that I must be a really cool customer.
This is how it goes when we have full confidence and trust in our Heavenly Father.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for my healing and for all the healing received by those for whom I pray. Amen.
Holy Crap….what in the hell does this all mean..are you saying some make believe being has an effect on my MM???? Incredible that in 2015 this gargage is still peddled by gullible individuals
Well, Alex, for you, your statement is correct – God is not helping you with your MM – but not because God doesn’t want to – God very much does want to help you. You must first ask God for help. In most of the healing miracles in Scripture, Jesus asked the person in need what he or she wanted, and healing was given. In the rest, it was the faith of the person or others who loved that person. I pray for you daily, Alex. It seems you have some blocks to healing exemplified by your bitter feelings. God did not bring MM to you. God wishes no evil on any one. God loves you very much, no matter what you may have done and wishes to help you. You must forgive others of the wrongs done to you and request healing from God. Only then can healing possibly happen together with removing your bitterness of the world.
This reminds me of the old joke about the man in the flood where the waters were rising rapidly. First he was approached by someone in a canoe and was asked to come aboard. The man declined saying “God will save me” and the canoeist paddled on. Later, the man was on his roof and a speed boat came by and the driver asked him to come aboard. Again, the man declined saying “God will save me” and the driver left him. Now the flood waters pushed the man to the top of his chimney where the buffeting waters were quite precarious. Shortly, a helicopter came by with a rope ladder hanging down and the man motioned to the pilot to fly away saying “God will save me”. Presently, the flood waters rose further and the man, exhausted from swimming, drowned. After he died, the man angrily said to God, why didn’t you save me? God replied, “I sent you a canoe, a speedboat, and a helicopter. What more did you want?”
We must be willing to ask for and accept help from others, including God.
You might like to explain why no chapter, verse or paragraph on your deity exists in publications on MM. My hospital walls make no mention and my specialists laugh at its mention.
I work in the pharmaceutical industry and have for 40 years. I know very well the work required for a therapy to be proven safe and effective with double blind studies with hundreds of people. I do recall a recent story of a group of patients that were divided into those who were prayed for and those who were not. Those who were did consistently better in the condition that they had. I’ll see if I can find it and post it.
The specialists that I work with all seem to agree that they will take all the help they can get including the power of God.
I’m very sorry you live and get therapy in such a negative environment. Healing happens when both the patient and his/her caregivers are in a positive environment. Bitterness and negativity are the work of the devil. Whether you accept the presence of the devil in our world or not, I don’t know – let me assure you that this presence is a real and powerful force in our world today – witness ISIS.
